Moorestown Township Council

Since 2019, we’ve benefitted from a Democratic majority on Moorestown Council,
working for all of us to move our community forward.

Here are some of the things they’ve accomplished since then:

Facilitated the revitalization of the Moorestown Mall, bringing Cooper Health, residences and Parky’s entertainment to create a mixed-used facility

Upgraded technology at Town Hall to ensure Council meetings will always be conducted in a hybrid in-person/virtual format to encourage broader, more inclusive public participation

Launched a monthly e-mail newsletter to keep Moorestown residents informed

Added streetscape plantings, a bike lane, decorative light posts, benches and brick crosswalks to Camden Ave in the Lenola Town Center.

Dedicated Armydis Sordon Park on Beech Street, the first park in Moorestown to be named for a black veteran

Created a cyclist, pedestrian and traffic safety task force to identify issues and propose solutions

Attained certification as a Veteran Friendly Community

Completed the long-awaited Percheron Park on Main Street

Upgraded playground equipment at Strawbridge Lake Park

Initiated a plastic bag recycling program at Town Hall that turns recycled plastic into seating areas on municipal land
